I’ve got something to say…

I’m a pretty quiet guy. People associate my low word count with wisdom but it might just be poor communication skills. I really hesitatied to start a blog out of principle because I am quiet and I typically don’t have much to say.
Additionally, I would say that I’m not a great conversationalist, although I’ve gotten a lot better.
Over time and through the start of this blog, I think I’ve discovered that I do have something to say, but I just say it better after its been thought though and lived out.
I think, in that sense, we all have something to say. We’ve all lived. We’ve all learned.
When I have an original thought or idea or life lesson that I run across, I’ve trained myself to always, always write it down. I have a terrible memory. My middle school bible teacher always said, “Paper never forgets” but paper is not very easily searchable… Soooo translating that to today’s world I’d suggest to you that, “Evernote never forgets” so start a notebook of your diary/journal/ideas and a month from now you will have an incubator full of personal blog ideas.
This all started out just as a personal journal to log our family’s journey. And I still haven’t shared it on facebook and I don’t know that I will soon. Maybe it’s because I’m quiet on facebook too. It’s still just for me and close friends and family to get some more context into our life. I’m sure it will evolve into something else someday but I’m happy with my new found hobby. I’m happy to have found a platform to say some things. It’s healthy for my brain and my soul.
What is it that you have to say? Do you have an outlet to say it?
